During the Spring Festival in 2023, domestic tourist visits reached 308 million, ushering in the first wave of cultural tourism boom in the post-pandemic era.

In response to this upsurge, Guangzhou Yongqingfang joined hands with Night Rainbow to carry out night view lighting for Yongqingfang under the conditions of protecting the scenic area buildings and reasonably arranging the scenic area lighting.

Targeted wall washing and lighting of building facades can highlight key landmark buildings in the scenic area, providing sufficient conditions for tourists to check in at night;

At the same time, to ensure that tourists can find comfortable lighting and feel fully secure no matter where they go, we used various lighting devices such as star lights and small-scale atmosphere landscape lights to light up stairs, river channels, green plants, passage canopies and other points, achieving a perfect integration of light and scenery.

Inspired by silk and flowers, when viewed from the ground looking up, the installation presents the 'Ethereal Breath' of flowing silk, while observing it on the corridor reveals the 'Blossoming Breath' of flowers chasing the light. The structure is composed of nearly 200,000 point-controlled diamond lights and countless crystal pieces, with tens of thousands of self-emitting sources and chips providing refraction, ensuring the installation remains dazzlingly radiant both day and night.

2021 Taikoo Li Corridor Bridge

Scenic Bridge is a prominent bespoke design at Taikoo Li Qiantan, spanning over 80 meters with an upper and lower double-layered structure that significantly enhances the openness of the shopping mall. The bridge stretches across the central axis of Taikoo Li Qiantan, offering panoramic views of Qiantan Park and the Huangpu River from its vantage point. The unique curved and irregular structure of Scenic Bridge, combined with light animations provided by Night Sky Rainbow, creates a stunning 3D effect through visual illusions. Advanced lighting programming technology breathes new life into the bridge after dark, transforming it from a daytime attraction into a vibrant spectacle at night.

For this year’s festival, Night Rainbow has joined hands with the team of Rao Baolian, national-level inheritor of ICH paper-cutting art, to reinterpret this traditional craft through the medium of artistic lighting. We have reproduced the classic patterns of ICH paper-cutting, taken a step further to reconstruct the traditional craftsmanship, and transformed the art form into stunning artistic light installations.
